1. How was 2006 for you?
2006 was definitely the most emotional year of my life.. I learned a lot about my family and myself and how our relationships work.. some members of my family I feel even closer to while others I couldn’t feel further a part from. We decided that we do want to have a baby, we started looking at houses to buy, and I think I feel even closer to my husband now than when we got married — and I didn’t think that was even possible.

2. What was the highlight of your year?
I would have to say.. our 1 year anniversary was probably the best part of 2006. We spent it in NY, which neither one of us had ever been to before, and I learned things about myself and my husband this year that I never knew existed, I over came a little of my fear of heights, and I managed to lose 78 pounds.

3. What did you want to accomplish that you didn’t get to?
I really wish I had gotten more projects finished this year.. It wasn’t really a project productive year and I missed that. I would like to have gotten a sweater for myself finished this year.. I have found a pattern or two I would like to start.. so perhaps after the holidays I can get to it. I am loving the patterns in both Interweave’s Summer issue and Vogue Knitting’s winter issue. I would like to make a few things from each book.. I wish I had gotten around to it sooner

4. What are you planning for 2007?
I am planning on knitting a bunch of baby items for fellow doll collectors, I am wanting to complete some of the projects for myself that I mentioned above, and I would like to make something for a friend or two. I would love to start with the Maternity sweater from Interweave.. I have a feeling when I do get pregnant, I will want to knit lots of baby things, not a maternity sweater for myself.. so I had better get started soon!
