Noro Striped Scarf

Posted by Nina on Feb 20, 2009

I can see why everyone says these scarves are so addictive and that you can never make just one. Watching the colors ebb and flow kept the project interesting despite the tedious 1×1 rib that went on for miles. This of course could also be because I just couldn’t help seeing what color combos would happen next. I really wanted to finish the porom hat to wear tonight to the wedding reception but I just couldn’t make it. My hands are aching and I can barely grasp a glass.. so I think I will tuck the hat into my knitting bag and hope to finish it next week. It’s beautiful but back to the scarf! I can’t believe how beautiful the scarf photographs.. I am waiting to block it on some wires to make sure that it hangs straight.. I will do that when I return home.. until then I am just going to wear and enjoy!
