DIY Joy Signs

Posted by Nina on Nov 23, 2009

What do you get when you head to the craft store and pick up random pieces of unfinished wood and a little paint?

When I saw these signs I just knew I had to make them! I really wanted them for my kitchen but they ended up being a bit too tall for the space I had but they look fabulous in our foyer! I love them so much that I don’t think that I will even take them down after the holidays. I didn’t distress my signs like the instructions said, I think it looked better without it. They were so quick and easy to make! I wish I had thought of them! It only cost a few dollars and it makes a huge statement when you walk through our front door.

Vegan Caviar!

Posted by Nina on Feb 8, 2009

I’m quite amazed that this stuff actually exists! I found it while viewing a LiveJournal vegan community.. and one of the comments said that it tastes oddly authentic! I have never tasted real caviar for obvious reasons, so I would have no point of reference but I am dying to try some out! I think I might order a jar and see if it’s really as exciting as everyone makes it out to be. I think I might order the red since it just looks more interesting.. but the only color I have ever seen in person is the black.

Maybe I can get the husband to taste it.. he’s not a vegetarian of any sorts and give a proper review. I wish I had found this earlier! It would have made Valentine’s Day a lot more exciting at our house!

bra sizing

Posted by Nina on Aug 11, 2006

I’ve recently lost a lot of weight and I knew that I had to be wearing the wrong bra size.. but according to my measurements I really should have been where I was.. but the straps were falling and the back was hiking up which meant that I really wasn’t! A friend suggested this site. It actually was VERY accurate for me which is amazing since it doesn’t use measurements. I actually went down 2 band sizes and up 3 cup sizes! WOW! This site also helps.
